• Is oil separation natural? What should I do if my nut butter separates?
Yes, oil separation is entirely natural when your butter has been sitting for a little while. As a matter of fact, it is what you should expect from a natural nut butter without any additives like ours. We recommend stirring it with a clean spoon every time before you eat it.
• Do I need to refrigerate my nut butter?
Our nut butters do not need refrigeration. We do recommend keeping them in a cool place like your pantry and away from direct sunlight. If you wish, you can refrigerate them to lengthen the shelf life, although they may become a little harder to mix. And we are sure you will finish our butter faster than you think.
• What is the shelf life?
Our nut butters are best consumed within nine months of production. You will find the “best by” date at the bottom of each jar. However, you can safely consume nut butter up after a year of production as long as it has been carefully stored and without direct sunlight.
• Is your entire facility peanut-free?
Yes! All our products are peanut-free, as well as our kitchen.
• Are your nuts raw or roasted?
We lightly roast our nuts to enhance and preserve the flavors and improve their shelf life.
• Are your products all-natural?
All our products are free from additives, preservatives, palm oil, and GMO ingredients. They are also gluten-free without added sugar. We carefully source our ingredients to guarantee the highest quality of products.
• Why is my cacao hazelnut butter so runny?
Hazelnut butter is pretty runny itself, and because we don’t add any additives or preservatives, it maintains its liquid consistency.
